HOMELAND DELIRIUM (2009-2023) is as much about the act of seeing in an era inundated with images to question the reliability of vision and memory. It challenges viewers to reconsider what it means to document conflict, especially when the conflict is internal as much as external. The essence of the narrative is haunted by the idea of “homeland” as both a physical place and a contested emotional landscape. In a continuous delirium, it suggests that the condition of confusion, distortion, and feverish disorientation—might be the most honest response to a homeland that is perpetually unraveling.
